To those interested, we have an ongoing church project that encourages rest, relaxation, and fellowship, because it’s an art project: painting rocks! The Fount will provide the supplies, you bring your creativity and love for spreading the gospel. The idea is the rocks will be a meaningful, lasting way to share tidbits of the joy Jesus has given us, through designs that incorporate His word and creation.

We encourage you to make designs about your favorite Bible verses or stories, God’s attributes, animals, plants, flowers, fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control), etc. Use the designs as a guide, making the design your own.

We will hand these rocks out to neighbors and friends, as well as hide them around KC for people to find in a guerilla-marketing type effort, aimed at raising awareness about our church, inviting people to come worship. Each rock, after being painted, will be turned in/left at the church, to have a small piece of paper glued on to the bottom with the church’s website and a message inviting them to join us Sunday. Then they will be covered in a clear weather-proofing spray.
